German Naval Estimates.
Berlin November 22. Germany's naval estimates for 1909 are £3000,000 sterling above current the year of £lO, OSS,OOO. Ai: increase of £2,437,500 will be devoted to works under non-recurring expenditure, new construcion, and armament?, £7,000,000 will be apportioned to new construction, whereof £1,250,C00 will be met by a loan, and the remainder out of ordinary revenue. The estimates provide for first appropriations for three Dreadnoughts, one Indomitabel, two small cruisers, twelve destroyers, and some submarines.
