HOME SEPARATION.

To the Editor.

Sir, —I was very pleased to read in your paper that Mr Goodfellow intended to start a factory and purchase home separated milk. The price otl'ered, namely, 11 Jd in full, is very tempting, to say nothing of the extra money our calves should fetch from the different treatment. I have an idea that Mr Goodtellow can easily embrace the whole Waikato with his offer; that is, if there is some practical way for the milkers or shareholders to send their cream at reasonable rates. At present among our troubles are long drives on wet mornings. There is far too much expense in running our business, and far too many gentlemen walking about with their coats on who should be making butter.—l am, etc., N.Z.D.A. SHAREHOLDER. P.S. -What \i the cost of a home separator with a small engine?
