Raglan-Kawhia A. and P. Association.

At a meeting of the committee of the Raglan and Kawhia, A. and P. Association on Saturday last it was decided that the forthcoming show should be held on the 21st of February, and that entries of cattle, sheep and pigs must be in the hands of the secretary not later than the Bth of February. Entries in the horse classes will be accepted up to the 15th of February, The following alterations and additions were made .to the schedule: Three extra classes were added to the cattle, viz.: Jersey bull, cow, and heifer. Classes for two-tooths were added to the various breeds of sheep. A class was provided for ewe with her progeny. All lamb classes with the exception of lambs for butcher and freezing purposes were altered to read ewe lambs for breeding purposes. Classes- for 12 and 15 stone hacks eligible only to horses bred in the Raglan and Kawhia Counties were added to the schedule. The following stewards were appointed: Cattle; Messrs Houchen and H, Matthews; Draught horses: Messrs F, Sutton, and R. Brown; Light horses: Messrs N. R, King and W, Vernon ; Sheep: Messrs A- Moon and W. Gibbison; Pigs: Mr McCardle. It was resolved that the Town Hall be engaged for show night by the association.
