North Island Egg-laying Competition.
The 35th week of the competition promoted by the North Island Egglaying Competition Association, Ltd., at Cambridge, was concluded on Friday, 3rd January, 1907. The number of eggs laid during the week was 1653, being an average of 20.15 eggs per pen. Total number of eggs laid since Ist May is 60'654, being an average of 739.68 eggs per pen. The monthly prize of £1 Is, for mot eggs laid during the month of December, was won by pen No. 50, A. and P. Association, Auckland, White Leghorns, with a total of 148 eggs.
