Liquor in the King Country.

M.’sH.R AS WITNESSES., (By Telegraph—Press Association.) Wellington, Last Night. During the recent trip of a number of members of Parliament up the North Island Main Trunk railway, the guests were banqueted at Taumarunui and Raetihi, and at both places it is understood liquors were supplied. It now appears that both these places are in the King Country, Rohe Potac, into which no liquor must be taken, and those who provided the refreshments are, it is stated, to be prosecuted for a breach of the law, while those members who were present are to be called as witnesses.
