HAMILTON RUGBY UNION.

Tbe weekly meeting of the Managing Committee was held in the Hamilton Hotel yesterday evening. The secretary reported that he had arranged with the Railway Department to run a special train from Te Awamntu on Saturday night after the Waipa match, and he was instructed to endeavour to have the train run on to Hamilton. The Paeroa Union wrote agreeing to Saturday, Bth September, as the date (or a match at Paeroa. It was decided to arrange a match between the local schools to act as a ** curtain-raiser ” to the AucklandWaikato match on 25th, the matter being left in Mr C. Speight’s hands. The members of the Hamilton representative team are requested to meet at the Volunteer Hall at 8 o’clock to-mor-row evening for practice.
