WAIKATO FARMERS' CLUB.

TE KuWHAI BRANCH. A meeting of the above branch was held on the 26th inst. About the average number attended tbe meeting. The Hamilton branch wrote re the Barugh presentation, stating that they would not close the list for a month, so as to give time to collect subscriptions. —lt was decided to take no action in the matter, as the parent branch had given no notice of the above, and the Hamilton branch did not ask for co operation. Mj S. Fullerton was re-elected chairman, Mr Limmer vice-chairman, and Mr R. Gillespie hon. secretary. The Noxious Weeds Act and various other matters were discussed.

The following notice of motion was tabled:—'That at the next meeting of the Jlub the Te Knwhai l-.ranoh secede from the Waikato Farmers' Club, and affiliate direct with the Farmers' Union
