THE CRAVEN PLATE. (BY TELEGRAPH—PRESS ASSOCIATION) Auckland, This Day. A Sydney, cable states that the Craven Plate resulted :—lbex 1, Cruciform 2, Wakeful 3. Ibex got a length the best of the start, aud kept hie advantage till the straight was reached, where bis closest attendants were Cruciform and Famous, with Wakeful a length off. Ibex was challenged by his opponents, but won cleverly by a head from CrucU form, who was going the faster at the finish, with Wakeful, two lengths away, third. Time, 2min. 7isec, which is only a quarter of a second under the record.
