unchanged. Wellington, Lvst Night.—The Department of Industries and Commerce received the following cable from the Agent-General, dated March 11:—The wool siles have commenced. The present series includes 70,000 bales, against 54,000 bale.-! for the same series list year. There was a hrj-e attendance of Home and foreign buyers, a;ul active competition at closing prices. The last scries were of all grades. Fine eroisbreds were well maintained, but all grades were coarse and medium. Cros-breds are JJ per lb lower in value. Merino wool is unchanged. ______
