BOARD OF EDUCATION.
The fortnightly meeting cf tho above was held yesterday. The only matter of special interest to this district are : TliD Board decided to consult committees as to appointments :—Raglan, Mr Blackett ; Oxford, Miss H. H. Taylor, Mamaku, Messrs W. J. Cahill, and H. J. Durham- Tho following resignations were announced :Mr J. La Trobe, Raglan ; Miss K. Calvert, Oxford ; Miss A. E. Bond, Paeroa High School. The chairman reported that the Rangiaohia school has been closed during the last fortnight owiug to the prevalence of measles.
