IMPERIAL ELECTIONS.

The following candidates havo been elected unopposed :—Donegal West, Mr Boyle; Galway South, Colonol Nolau; Kerry South, Mr Boland (all Nationalists). The old members havo been re-elected for Thornbury Division of Gloucester, Potersfield, Worcester East, Cleveland, Carlow, Down East, Conuemara, Kildare South, Londonderry, County Mayo East and Tipperary North. The old members have been reelected for the following seats:— Fidbam, Greenwicb, Westminister, Taunton, Winchester, Warwick, Leamington, Ashton-uuder-Lyue, Hafford Borough, Ecclesall, Bath, Brigh* ton, Huddersfield, Wednesbury, Dudley, Ipswich, Dundee, Kidderanm* The following bave been elected at the polls:—Brightside division, Sheffield, J. E. Hope (Tory), who defeated Maddison by 964; Gravesond, G. Parker (Tory); Tynemoutb, L.Harris (Tory); Salisbury, W. Palmer, Unionist: Christchurch, Major K. Balfour (Tory), 3411; Hon. T. Allmitt Brassey, Liberal, 3408. Brasgey demanded a scruting; Walsall, Sir A. D. Hayter, Liberal; Merthyr Tydvil, D.A.Thomas, old member, and Keir Hardie, who beat Pritchard Morgan; Derby Borougb, Sir T. Eoe, Liberal, and K. Bell, Labour Liberal. The nearest Ministerial candidate waß defeatedby 528. Old members re-elected unopposed for Arfon Division, Carnarvon, Clitheroe, Cork North-east, Waterford West, Morpeth. The polling at Newcastle upon Tyne was Plummer, 15,097; Kenwick,. 14.752, Consevatives; Samuel Storey, 18,488; Captain Hedworth Lambtou, 10.463, Liberals. Lord Portsmouth has rejoined the Liberal party. At Brighton John Kensit, of AntiBitualistio fame, who announced himself as a protestant candidate, polled 4693. , R. Bell, who is elected for Derby, is the secretary of the Society of Amalgamated Engineers. The new member for Gravesend is Gilbert Parker, a well-known novelist, .
