THE candidates for the following seats have been re-electpd :—Boston, Manchester North. North-east, South and South- west, East Bradford, Central, East and West Bedford, Blackburn, Scarborough, Lincoln City, Aberdeen North and South, Paddiugtou North, Islington North, South-east and West, Chelsea, Coventry, Salford North and West, Clapham, Stoke-upon-Trent, Whithaven, Perth City, Battersea, Kennington Division of Lambeth, Deptford, Dewsbury, Nottingham East, West and South, Penryn, Falmouth and Paisley. The following Tories were elected:— Galway City, M. L. P. Morris ; Salford South, J. Groves; Stoketon, Colonel Eopner ; St. George's, Hanover Square, Colonel H. Legge ; Lambeth North, F, Horner; Middesborough, Colonel Sudler; Leicester, Sir J. Rollestou, and W. Hazell (Liberal). (Received October 3, 11 p.m.) London, October 2. The candidate have been elected unopposed for Ross Division of Hereford.

Unionist members have been elected for Knutsford Division of Chester, York. East Houiton Division of Devon, Western Divison of Dorset, Dartford, Chorley and luce Division of Lancaster, Brentford, Uxbridge, Newark, Woodstock, Kingston, Lewis, Huntingdonshire, Barkston, Ash Division of Yorkshire, Whitby, Blackpool, Cirencester, Macclesfield, New Forest Division of Hampshire, Isle of Thanet, St. Albans, Glasgow and Aberdeen Universities, Hitchin, Western Division of Derbyshire. (Received October 4, 9.10 a.m.) London, October 3. Members have been re-elected for the Rossendale Division of Lancashire, Southern Division of Monmouth, Western Division of Caermarthen, Eastern Division of Caermarthen, Ludlow, Kendel, Ripon. Kilkenny City, Clare East,|Galway East, Mid Cork, Westmeath South, Dublin North, Edinburgh and St. Andrew's Universities. Elected unopposed for Newbury Division of Berks, W. G. Mount (Tory); Tullamore, Burk; Limerick East, Lundon, Meath North, Carew; Sligo South, O'Dowd; all Nationalists. At the poll the following Liberal Imperialists were returned:- Granham, Priestly; Gloucester City, R. Rea; Swanseatown, Sir George Newnes; South Wolverhampton, H. Newman; Northampton, Docjor Ship* man; who defeated Orlebar and Randall (Tories), H, Labouchere being second on the poll; Hastings, G. Thomas. The totals so far are : Conservatives 154 Liberal-Unionists 24 Liberals 35 Nationalists 20 The Conservatives have gained six seats and the Liberals seven. All the latter are Imperialists. The Conservatives secured greatly increased majorities in London, Manchester and fcialford. At East Manchester Hon. A. J. Balfour's majority was 2453. At North-east Manchester Ferguson beat Birrell by 706. At North Manchester Schwann's majority was 26. At Leicester H. Broadhurst was reelected first on the poll, Rolleston being second.
