Mr Hunter's Sale.—With fine weather on Monday last. Mr Hunter's sale of the stock, etc. on Mr Doudican's farm was a good one. The cattle all of the best quality were in first-class condition and sold at top prices,, four-year-old bullocks reaching up to £S Us. The horses also sold well, one colt fetching .00. Mr Doudican is an old settler hero and will lie much missed by many friends. His farm has passed into the hauda of Mr T. Dodd who has now taken possession, ami whom I welcome to the district. New Settleb. — Mrs Buinbridge'a lace farm has beeu leased from the owner, Mr T. Secoombe for a term of years, by Mr MoHardy, a gentleman from the Waivnrapa district. He aud hia family are also very welcome additious to the district.—(Own Correspondent).
