Waikato Argus Offiok, This Day. W. J. HUNTER'S SPECIAL OHAUPO SALE. On Tuesday at Mr W. J. Hunter's yards there was a good muster of stock of all

v. classes, about 600 head, most of them young cattle of good quality. Dairy cows were fairly well represented. !■■: About 50 were offered. All good sorts 1 were in demand and sold freely. There was an unsatisfied demand for crown .:' steers, but only a few pirns were offered, ijalvos and yearlings were slightly easier -: in price, but with few exceptions all .... sold under the hammer. Empty store cows, if fresh condition, were iu demand, and beef also sold well. There was a large attendance of the public, and the Wi sale was from start to finish. The *:• "following are the quotations:—Dairy ■"■'' cows from £5 2s 6d to £6 for good sorts, medium quality, £4 10s to £5 ; springing heifers. £5 2s to £6 12s 6d ; yearling v- steers, £2 ISs to £3 ; steer calves, £1 M 17a to £2 6s ; yearling heifers, £2 ; two ; atid a-half-year-old steers, £3 5s to £4 10s: grown steers, in forward condition, £6 14s to £7 10s; three-year-old steers, ;: £5 2s 61 to £5 15s; empty heifers, £2 10s to £3 ; store cows, £3 to £3 10s ; fat % ,£6 2s.
