CATTLE SALE AT PAPAKURA.

A VERY large sale of store cattle was hold by the New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Company at Papakiua on Monday. About 3UOO head of cattle were yarded, and were generally of good quality. The New Zealand Herald, in its report of the sale, says : The prices realised have not betn, in the experience of some of the hest judges, equalled during the past 10 or 15 years, and compared with lust year's sales big cattle have advanced from £1 10s to £2, while among the small cattle there was also the same comparative rise.
