FARMING IN AFRICA.
SIR A. MILNER'S OPINION. [UNITED HUMS ASSOCIATION.] (BY ELEOTIUC TELEGRAPH.—COFYBIOHT). (Received September 28, 1 a.m.). Adelaide, September 27. At the request of the members of the Council the Governor has made enquiries into the prospects of farmers in South Africa, and has ascertained two facts: First, not to allow farmers to go at present to be ruined: and second not to go to Rhodesia but to the Orange Colony. Sir A. Milner, in a letter to the Governor, promises to supply him with anv information available in regard to "the prospects of farming and the conditions.
