(by telegraph—press association). Wellington, Last Night, Mr S. Brown, President of the Industrial Corporation of New Zealand, has addressed a circular of tho President of each Industrial Association in the colony 011 the subject of Federation, in which he says :—" The question of Federation seems to h&ve come within the bounds of practical politics and it may have one way or another an effect on the industries of New Zealand, which represent probably some twenty millions of money. I think that tho subject of Federation is a proper one to engage the attention of the Industrial Associations, and one on which these bodies might gave an authoritative opinion. I should, therefore, ask you to call your Association together to discuss the question later, or I will ask the Industrial Corporation to meet in Wellington, so that the opinions of the whole of the Associations of the colony may be voiced on the matter.
