The Waikato Akgub Ofvick. Wednesday. MR W. J. HUNTER'S STOCK SALE. AT Oliaupo, on Tuesday, about 200 head were offered. There was a good muster of dairy cows and grown steers, hut most of them were of a medium quality and backward. Good cows am still in demand at fair prices, but old and poor are unsaleable. There is not much advance in the price <f grown steers. Several pens of well-bred sieers were sold, but at prices in favour of purchasers. Calves and yearlings _ were fairly numerous, but the market is still depressed for that class of stock, and, consequently, several pens were passed. Beef cattle also plentiful, and in tandemand. Mr Rae, of Paterangi, had several pens of nice fat steers, which sold up to £7 ss, about ISs per lOUlb.
