NORTH AUCKLAND HOSPITAL AND CHARITABLE AID BOARD.

The Balance Sheet of the North Auckland Hospital and Charitable Aid Board for the year ending 31st March 1892 has just been forwarded to the Council Offices and will be of interest to many of our readers. For the period treated ®f receipts from this County were Till 18s 9d which with the subsidy on same would give £223 17s 6d to the credit of Hobson County. The amount paid on behalf of this County was £lßl 18s 6d leaving a credit balance of £4l 19s. The refunds from patients is put down at £ll os whereas, we believe more than that was refunded in our County alone. Nothing was received from the Mcngonui County and nothing was seemingly paid to that County, so that the resolution passed at the last meeting of the Hobson County Council re payments to the Board was perhaps unnecessarily severe.
