WELFARE LEAGUE.

VISIT TO BUCHANAN HOME. The Women’s National Welfare League visited Greytown Hospital and Buchanan Home on Thursday, when a very enjoyable afternoon was spent with the old folk. When afternoon tea had been served Christmas carols were heartily sung by the inmates and the visitors. Miss E. Ralph was the soloist for the afternoon and her singing was greatly enjoyed by all. Biscuits, sweets, food and flowers were also distributed. The visit concluded with the National Anthem. The hospital staff entertained the visitors to afternoon tea. Among the visitors were Mesdames R. C. Drummond, T. W. Wardell, T. F. Watson, G. G. Tolhurst, 8. Fletcher, 8. N. Kilgour, A. W. McKenzie, C. N. Stilborn, H. Brisco, S. J. Munn, and Miss Cameron.
