MASTERTON PARK CLUB GAMES. The first round of the champion fours of the Masterton Park Bowling Club was played in. perfect conditions on Saturday. Three interesting games were played with the following results:— Frost, Drummond, Jenkins, Jobson (s) beat Coe, Burke, Thompson, Kilgour (s), 24/12; Emerson, Brown, Wilder, Simpson (s) beat Vincent, Braggins, Dixon, Carr (s), 18/15; Fenton, Wallace, Staniforth, Shearer (s) beat Ferguson, Finlayson, Buckley, BeU (s), 27/13. In the champion pairs, Finlayson and Bell (s) beat Leigh and Dagg (s), 20/19. Tn the champion singles, Wallace beat Bell, Fenton beat Shearer, Simpson beat Reader, Thompson beat Braggins, Jobson beat Carr. A high standard of bowling was set when the challengers for the Keatly Medals, Taylor and Shearer (s) took these trophies from, the holders, Ferguson and Finlayson, 21/13. MASTERTON CLUB GAMES.
