LIST OF APPOINTMENTS. RUGBY, March 2. A long list of appointments to the King’s Household is gazetted to-night. Among the principal appointments are the following:— Lord Chamberlain —The Earl of Cromer. * Lord Duke of Buecleuch and Queensberry. Master of the Horse—The Duke of Beaufort. Treasurer of the Household—Sir George Penny. Comptroller of the Household—Sir Lambert Ward. Vfce-Chamberlain of the Household— Sir George Davies. Private Secretary—Major Alexander Hardinge. Assistant Private Secretaries—Mr F. H. Mitchell, Mr A. F. Lascelles, and Sir Eric Melville. Keeper of the King’s Archives —Lofd Wigram. Keeper of the Privy Purse- I —Major Ulick Alexander. Financial Secretary to the King— Mr F. P. Robinson. High Almoner—The Archbishop of Canterbury.

Prebendary Archville is appointed Precentor of the Chapels Royal, and under the heading of medical household there are 35 appointments, headed by Lord Dawson of Penn, Lord Horder, Sir John Weir, and Sir Maurice Cassidy. The Earl of Athlone is to be Constable and Governor of Windsor Castle. Mr John Masefield continues to be Poet Laureate.—(British Official Wireless.)
