SENIA CHOSTIAKOFF AND “JOY RIDE.” At the Regent Theatre to-morrow afternoon, “Joy Ride,” a lively comedy starring Gene Gerrard and Zelma O’Neal will be screened, together with "an interesting range of featurettes. In the evening, the screening of “Joy Ride” will conclude at 9 p.m., and the remainder of the programme will be taken by the famous Russian tenor Senia Chostiakoff, whose wonderful singing has delighted audiences in many parts ot New Zealand. Masterton musiclovers no doubt will welcome the opportunity of hearing M. Their car breaks down and forces them to stay the night at the country mansion of their Admiral uncle, whose domineering wife is away on a trip. The untimely advent of Mrs. AdYniral creates an awkward situation, which is for the time shelved by Virgy pretending to lose her memory whilst Anne actually does. Many merry complications develop before everything is satisfactorily straightened out. Reserves at Perry’s, ’phone 2496.
