WEDDING.
FRYER—GLOVER. The marriage of Janet Neill McCaa, eldest daughter of Mr. and Mrs. T. N. Glover, to Robert James, eldest son of Mrs. H. Coe, of Waverley, and of the late Mr. J. Fryer took place at the residence of the bride’s parents, Poro Poro, recently. The Rev. Simpson performed the ceremony. The bride, who was given away by her father, looked charming in a dainty midnight blue frock of silk georgette over satin. She wore her mother’s veil and orange blossom and carried a bouquet of pansies and bluebells. She was attended by her sister, Miss Jeanie Glover, who wore a frock of pink floral georgette with floral bandeau in her hair. Her posy was of lilac and polyanthus. The duties of best man were ably carried out by Mr. Thomas Glover., After the ceremony 50 guests were entertained at the wedding breakfast and the usual toasts were honoured. The happy couple left by car for the south, the bride travelling in a nigger brown costume with accessories to match. Many useful presents testified to the popularity of the young couple. Their future home will be in Eketahuna.
