GRADUAL REINFORCEMENT OF GARRISON. NO PRECIPITATE ACTION LIKELY. NO ADVANCEMENT OF LINE. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, August 1. *5 The Times” Berlin correspondent says the period of four months has expired in which the Government undertook, not to increase the garrison on the Rhineland. Official quarters indicate that no precipitate action is being taken but arrangements have been made for a gradual reinforcement of the garrison. It is not intended to advance the line beyond that occupied in March.
