GIRLS AT PLAY.
HIGH SCHOOL SCORE TREBLE WIN. DANNEVIRKE TEAMS DEFEATED. Girls’ hockey and basketball teams from the Wairarapa High School visited Dannevirke this week and played matches against the Dannevirke High School. On Thursday the Wairarapa basketball team defeated the Dannevirke girls 13-11. Yesterday two hockey matches were played, both of which were won by Wairarapa, who gave splendid displays. The Wairarapa senior team won 7-2 and the junior 2-0. The teams, which will return home to-day, wore in charge of Mr. G. W. Morice.
