BISHOP OF WELLINGTON.
ENTHRONEMENT CEREMONY AT ST. PAUL’S: WELLINGTON, July 27. Picturesque ceremonial marked the enthronement of Bishop Herbert St. B. Holland as the fifth bishop of Wellington at a service at St. Paul’s ProCathedral to-night. Among the congregation, which filled the church, were the Governor-General Lord Galwav and Lady Galway and suite. Archbishop Averill, Dr. Sprott, retired Bishop of Wellington, the Bishops of Dunedin, Waipu, Aotearoa and Nelson and a bishop in Jerusalem, all of whom took part in the consecration yesterday morning were also present. The enthronement itself was performed by Canon Percival James as vicar of the church.—(P.A.)
