AUSTRALIAN CASUALTIES. INAUGURATION PLANS. LONDON, July 21. The Australian Associated' Press agency’s representative at Berlin reports that the Australian Olympic representatives continue to be dogged by casualties. It is feared that a renewed attack of boils on Harley's left arm will prevent his boxing at the Games. Woodhouse has a strained side, which is temporarily preventing him from practising pole-vaulting. Dickinson’s work is hampered by a displaced ankle bone. Elaborate ceremonial for the inauguration of the Olympic Games on August 1 will include brass bands parading the Unter den Linden, a divine service at the Cathedral, and a minute’s silence at the War Memorial. The Minister of Propaganda (General Goering) will receive distinguished people at the Museum of Ancient History adjoining the Lustgarden, from which war was declared in 1914. Twenty-five thousand youths and girls will march to the Lustgarden to receive the torch-bearer bringing the Olympic flame to kindle a fire at a special altar . The runners will then continue to the staduim, and in the presence of the Fuhrer, Herr Hitler, 30,000 carrier pigeons will be released carrying the news.
