LOVELOCK AGAIN.
PROMINENT IN BRITISH BELAY RACE. CONTEST FOB VICTORY TROPHY. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) LONDON, July 4. At White City, Lovelock assisted the Achilles Club to retain the Victory Trophy, for a four miles relay, which was run in 17 minutes 31.2 seconds. Lovelock exhibited a glimpse of his real form, running the first mile in 4 minutes 18 seconds and securing a lead of eighty yards, which his team mates increased to a hundred, bearing the Southgate club. The Quintin Hogg Victory trophies rank as the British relay championships.
