CONTEST FOB TAUEBU BIDING LIKELY. POWER BOARD SEAT TO BE FILLED BY COUNCIL. The nomination in hand is that of Mr. James Donald, his nominators being Messrs J. H. Percy, W. L. Wrigley and J. Nicholls. The other likely candidate is Mr. J. H. F. The vacancy on the Wairarapa Power Board will be filled without the necessity of a pott. Under the Act the Masterton County Council has power to make an appointment for the remainder of the term and this course will be- followed.
