COSY THEATRE.
"PRIVATE WORLDS” & "STOLEN HARMONY.” Two star pictures are included in the programme to be shown at the Cosy Theatre this evening. "Private Worlds, ” • presents Miss Clkudette Colbert as a. woman doctor in the unusual setting of a hospital for the insane. Understanding, the mental ills and frustrations of her patients, she fails to see her own overwhelming need for love until she has almost missed it. Charles Boyer, Joan Bennett, Helen Vinson and Joel. McCrea are featured in the supporting cast of "Private Worlds” under the direction of Gregory La- Cava. Ben Bernie, cigar, fiddle, salutation and all together with his übiquitous lads returns to the films to share starring honours with George Raft in Paramount’s "Stolen Harmony,” the second feature. In the picture, Bernie acts a character much like himself in real life. He is a band leader who takes his lads and lassies on a show tour of the country in a large and commodious bus. Raft’s big chance comes when the entire troupe is kidnapped by a desperate gang of outlaws. Raft, at the risk of his life, saves the troupe, vindicates himself and wins the girl, bringing the picture to its dramatic close. “Stolen Harmony” features a musical score by Mack Gordon and Harry Revel.
