BUTTER AWARDS.
NATIONAL DAIRY SHOW. COMMENT OF JUDGES. PALMERSTON N., June id. “It is considered that the standard of quality of the creamery butter exhibits shows an improvement. There is also a commendable uniformity of manufacture. Worthy of special mention were exhibits taken at random from export boxes held at the grading stores from February. Practically all were classified as finest grade. Owing to the very small margin of merit separating the exhibits in the finals of the various classes difficulty was experienced in selecting the winners and runners-up, and all deserve congratulations.” The foregoing is the comment of the judges of the butter classes at the National Dairy Show.
