MAN BUN OVER BY WHEELS I OF CABRIAGE. FATALITY AT OTAHUHU. AUCKLAND, June 16. Run over by the wheels of a I'arriage of a suburban passenger train at Otar 'huhu station early this morning, Richard Edelsten, 54, an unemployed motor paihter, of Otahuhu, was killed instantaneously. Edelsten had left his homo shortly before 8 ‘a.m. to travel to land by train. As the 3.18 train was moving slowly from the island platform Edelsten was seen running across the lines of the eastern sidings towaafl the rear carriage. On feeling unusuzjl bumps the guard signalled the train |t> stop and tire body of Edelsten who found on the line. The wheels of the last carriage had passed over his chest! Edelsten, who leaves a wife and two children, was a returned soldier, hawing served with the Australian forces during the Great War.—(PA.) <
