two prison Escapees. AUCKLAND, June 16. 1 Wet through after spending a night in the rain in the Kaimanawa-Ranges, the two prisoners who escaped last night from the Hautu Prison Camp, near Tokaanu, were recaptured by twd warders in the ranges this morning. The fugitives, John .Booth Prohl aged 26, and Richard de Thierry, aged 23, were tracked by warders - who found them 20 miles from the camp. They offered no resistance. —(P.A.)
