In the butter classes at the National Dairy Show at Palmerstop North, the Mauriceville Dairy Company was placed first for a box of jpats, open to butter-makers or first assistants.

The Masterton Municipal Bund held seven practices during May. The Band assisted at the Wairarapa P. and A.
