MISSING OFFICIAL.
BODY FOUND IN SYDNEY HARBOUR. CASE OF ALEXANDER COLLINS. (Received Sunday, 6.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 31. The body of the lottery official, Alexander Collins, was recovered from the harbour near Clifton Gardens, North Shore, a suburb, last night. It appeared to have been in the water for some time. (Remarkable circumstances were associated with Collins’s mysterious disappearance. All trace of him was lost over a week ago, the day after he was married, and a note subsequently found at. the Lottery Office contained his will, which gave no, .clue to his future intentions. Examination of his books at the Lottery Office revealed that everything was in order).
