Mahmoud, by Blenheim —Mah Mahal (C. Smirke), 1; the Aga Khan's b.c. Taj Akbar, by Fairway—Taj Shirin (Gordon Richards), 2; Mrs. J. Shand's br.c. Thankerton, by Manna — Verdict (Burns), 3. According to the latest cables the winner was third in order of favouritism, the second horse being the ruling favourite, principally on account of his jockey being Gordon Richards.
