In whimsical prose, verse and sketches Ken Alexander gives ‘‘Pots at P'ets.” In ‘‘Panorama of the Playground,” W. F, Ingram brightly proves his declaration that ‘‘New Zealauders are Sportsmen.” R. M. Jenkins continues his popular series of ‘‘Limited Night Entertainment.” Sheila Russell gives another delightful chat about ‘‘The People of Pudding Hill.” Colin Mcßerry has a very droll story based on the lonely Cross Creek Railway Station. A new feature, ‘‘Heroic Lives,” opens with ‘‘The Village Heroine,” a gripping story by F. A. Hornibrooke (London). ‘‘Helen” again gives generous measure of helpful notes and advice for women. W. A. Stewart offers interesting facts and figures on the FrancoEthiopian Railway (Djibouti to Addis Ababa). Hiustrations, reproductions of photographs and drawings, are again a notable feature. About sixty pictures are distributed through the 64 pages. .
