MABTEBTON BEAT GREYTOWN.
A match between the Masterton and Greytown Miniature Rifle Clubs held at Masterton on Monday night resulted in a win for Masterton’s A and B teams. For the Masterton A team P. Russell was top scorer with 99 and in the B team L. Renall, F. Gray and W. V. Mason were equal with 95. Following are the scores:— Masterton: P. Russell, 99; H. Cross, 98; Mrs. King. 97; H. Donald, T. Oakly, B. Summers, 06; D. T. Donald, H. K. Smith, H. King, 94; J. Whiteman, 92; total, 956. Greytown: R. Tilson, R, Hills, 97; A. G. Rhodes, 95; Miss Roband, 94; G. Te Whaiti, 93; H. Tilson, 92; B. Drysdale, M. Hobson, 89; F. Staples, T. Morgan’ 88; total, 922. Masterton B: D. Renall, F. Gray, W. V. Mason, H. Preston, 93; N. Johnson, 92; total, 470.
