SIXTY-NINE YEARS OLD YESTERDAY.
QUIET FAMILY CELEBRATION AT PALACE. (Received Tuesday, 7.45 p.m.) LONDON, May 26. Queen Mary is sixty-nine to-day. The birthday will be celebrated quietly at a family luncheon at Buckingham Palace. "The Times,” in a leader, says public feeling will flow freely towards her Majesty, whose widowhood has not Withdrawn her from the general life in which her benefleient ability and energy cannot be spared. Thousands will wish her many years of health and vigour in which to make others happy.
