SALVATION ARMY.
VISIT BY COMMISSIONER ADAMS. There was a large attendance at the Salvation Army Hall last night when- a special service was conducted by Commissioner Adams. The Commissionertook as his text: “Ye shall be witnesses under Me in Jerusalem, in Judea and unto the uttermost parts of the earth.” Mrs. Adams also spoke and Brigadier Church related various incidents in his early career in the Army in Australia. Colonel A. Scotney contributed a solo and the Masterton Songster Brigade also rendered an item. The gathering was a most successful one.
