STALLED ENGINE.
SUPPOSED CAUSE OF O’HARA FATALITY. INVESTIGATION OPENED. SYDNEY, May 25. Stalling of the engine ‘is believed to be the cause of the nose-dive of Mr. W. M. O’Hara’s 'plane which cost the aviator his life. The machine was completely destroyed, even the aluminium parts of the engine being reduced to small heaps of powder, resembling powdered chalk. A number of lantern slide views of New Zealand scenes were found about fifteen feet from the wreckage. The Air Accident Investigation Committee sent a special representative to the scene.
