LAUNCH MYSTERY.

FOUR MEN REPORTED MISSING IN N.S.W. INTENSIVE SEARCH BEING MADE. (Received Sunday, 7.30 p.m.) SYDNEY, May 24. Another boating mystery similar to that of the Thompsons, in the same locality, and, according to reports, concerning the same launch, is reported, lour men who engaged the launch to go fishing on the Hawkesbury River are missing. An intensive search is being carried out. RAD WEATHER. FEARS FOR MISSING MEN. (Received This Day, 0.20 a.m.) SYDNEY, May 24. It is now definitely established that the launch engaged by the four missing men was that formerly hired by the Thompsons, but it had since been repaired. The identity of the missing men is not clearly established. They engaged the boat on Saturday forenoon with the object of fishing at the entrance to the Hawkesbury River. High seas and bad weather have since prevailed and police boats are unable to search the coast. Grave fears are entertained for the men’s safety. They had intended to return the launch on Saturday afternoon. A motor ear belonging to one of the men and some of their clothing remains unclaimed at the launch proprietor’s sheds
