RAIL EXCURSION.
TO AUCKLAND AND WAIKATO WINTER SHOW. One of the most attractive excursions so far arranged by the Railway Department this year is that announced to Auckland and the Waikato Winter Show for the week-end May 29-June 1. The excursion train leaves Wellington on Friday night (29th) and arrives at Frankton and Auckland early next morning. Return train leaves Auckland and Frankton on Sunday afternoon and arrives at Wellington 6.45 a.m. on Monday. The fares are drastically reduced to under Id per mile with free reservations. The excursion covers all stations in Manawatu, Wairarapa and Napier districts. See advertisement in this issue.
