ABSENCE FROM LEAGUE.
ITALIAN DELEGATE FAILS TO ATTEND.
GENEVA, May 18.
Signor Carazzoni, the Italian delegate to the League of Nations Committee dealing with opium, did not attend to-day’s meeting of the Committee. This is regarded as significant, as it is the first, time since . Baron Aloisi walked out of the Council Chamber that Italy has been absent from League meetings when technical work has been conducted.
