RIMUTAKA DEVIATION.
DATE FOR DEPUTATION FIXED. MEETING WITH MINISTERS. “Have arranged deputation to Prime Minister and other Ministers regarding Wairarapa railway facilities for Thursday, May 28, at 12 noon.” The above telegram was received yesterday by Mt. H. ML Boddington, secretary of the Masterton Chamber of Commerce, from Mr. J. Robertson M.P. At a district conference held recently it was decided to send a deputation ;o Wellington as soon as possible to urge the claims of the district for better railway facilities. Mr. Boddington is eom municating with all the local bodies concerned relative to the date of the deputation and other matters concerning the arrangements.
