COMING TO-MOBBOW. “MURDER ON A HONEYMOON.” Unseen death haunts the cabin of a seaplane as it speeds from Los Angeles to Catalina Island in the RKORadio mystery-comedy, “Murder on a Honeymoon,” featuring Edna May Oliver and James Gleason. This picture will be shown at the State Theatre to-morrow at 2.15 and 8 p.m. and on Saturday at 11 a.m., 2.15 and 8 p.m. Chills, thrills, and chuckles alternate in this exciting murder mystery. Miss Oliver and Mr. Gleason again appear in the characters they made famous, that of a spinster-sleuth and a wise-cracking police inspector, respectively. Except for the early aerial scenes, all of the action takes place on the resort island of Catalina. Scenting murder in the mysterious death aboard the sky liner, Miss Oliver, as Hildegarde Withers, sends a telegram to James Gleason, the Oscar Piper of the three highly successful productions, to join her in solving the crime. Hildegarde and Oscar make investigations and the fun is on in earnest, with plenty of spooky .atmosphere, scientific sleuthing and considerable shooting. Reserves at F. J. Adcock’s, ’phone 1275.
