Mr. Charles Mildenhall, of 220 Oriental Parade, Wellington, who was injured in a iqotor collision on the Hutt Road,. Lower Hutt, on Saturday evening, in which Mrs. L. E. Lowery, of Wellington, was killed, outright, died in the Wellington Hospital yesterday morning.—(P.A.)
Fifteen West Australian primary producers now touring the Dominion are to make a' brief halt in this (district on Thursday next on their Way through to Hawke’s Bay. They will visit the Penrose property of Sir William Perry and see something of his stud floeks.
There will be three sessions at the State Theatre to-morrow (Anniversary Day), a special session at 11 a.m. pre? ceding the customary sessions at 5.15 s and 8 p.m. The principal picture screened will be “Escape Me Nevor,” featuring Elizabeth Bergner.
