PRICES HOLD IN LOND6n. WELLINGTON, October 2.The New Zealand Producers’Co-oper-ative Marketing Association is advised from its London office to-day as follows:—Butter market firp. New Zealand, finest grade 117 s per cwt., first grade, 114 s; Danish, 128 s to 130 s. New Zealand cheese market is steady. White and coloured; 58s 6d per cwt. Messrs Joseph Nathan and. Co M Ltd., have received., from their principals, Messrs. Trengrouse and Nathan;.Ltd., London, the, following cabled advice, dated October I:—New Zealand butter, finest, 117 s .per cwt.; first,. 115 s» • A keen demand exists for butter prompt shipment at 12Jd per lb. f.o.k The f.0.b,. cheese market is quieter arid offers to Landon at s?d per lb. not readily taken up. The reported •sale of Southland, cheese at 6d per lt>. f.o.b. is said to be for a parcel of blit , ten tons and does not therefore represent the, present condition of. the forward cheese market. :■
The New Zealand Dairy Board” has fixed minimum prices, and. c,iA sales at 12Id per lb. for butter and sjd per lb. for cheese. . ,
