HONOLULU, September 30. ■ Mr. Harold Gatty,, technical adviser to Pan-American Airtygys, had a conference to-day with, 1)1- Dana Coman concerningthe results of,the survey of Jarvjs, Baker, . and Howland: Islands, and the Kipgman said] that a complete, purvey of entity' foute between Auckland' must: precede a. ’’ £e; **& it was uncertain whether 2 he ‘would accompany Dr. Coman on a sfeedridj survey trip, as herologicftl data was toeing collected by the Department of Commerce. He would probably leave for the Pacific Coast in a few days and report to the American interests on the possibilities of co-operation of British interests in the 'Antipodes, and- also the possibilities 'of a base between Honolulu and Samoa.
